Hello. I am English and in my sixties. Although I hated it at the
time I now treasure the memory of my many smackings from my loving
mother. I was usually sent to bed and put my pyjamas on; then I
waited. I would hear mum coming up the stairs and she would enter the
room holding the slipper or whatever I was to be punished with. Then
I would have to get out of bed and take off my pyjama trousers. Next
I would lay face down over my bed ready to have my bottom smacked.
Those few seconds waiting for the smacking to start seemed to last an
age. But then the bottom smacking would begin and I was soon in tears
as I was punished. It seemed to go on and on and at the end my bottom
was smarting and I was sobbing uncontrollably. As I say my mum was
veryloving and did not like punishing me. However she thought it was
her duty and did not shrink from smacking my bottom when I was naughty.
