I've looked and looked but, with the exception of Miss Sergeant, Miss Frost and Miss Martindale - alas all retired, I haven't found the 'real deal'. There are lots of women out there pretending to be headmistresses, but very few have the gravitas and demeanour to pull it off.
However, I am the eternal optimist and I live in hope. I am convinced that the perfect headmistress is out there punishing miscreants like me; however for some reason, she either doesn't publicise herself widely or perhaps she prefers to stay 'under the radar'.
Anyway, if you are a high quality headmistress who really knows what she's doing, I'd be keen to hear from you.
